Going to Prison, Freed in a Gutter

When: Wednesday, July 20th (7-9pm)
Where: Sculpture Center 44-19 Purves Street, Long Island City, Queens
What: performing "Come Together" and "Attica" by composer Fredrick Rzewski
with Brent Arnold(cello), Katie Young(bassoon), Megan Gould(violin)
Chris DiMeglio(trumpet), Joe Gallant(bass), Baby Copperhead(banjo), and Fionn Meade (vocals/curator)
Why: Cuz these pieces are deep (inspired by the Attica Prison Riots 1971) and nearly impossible
the musicians are golden virtuosos

What: Baby Copperhead w/ Brent Arnold(cello), Dave Berger(drums)
and SynthHead#7(synthesizer)...plus guest Jason Loughlin(baritone guitar)
Why: Playing with the full band!!!!!!!!!Plus, it's Jason Loughlin's CD release party, and Austin McCutchen
