Far Rockaway, Hurricane Sandy Relief

Far Rockaway is a pre-released song from my upcoming 2013 record 'Distress From The Milky Way'. After the devastation of hurricane Sandy, I decided to get this out early and will donate every dollar or more to hurricane relief, specifically to Occupy Sandy(they are doing the best job!). From the crossing of the eerie spaceship-sounding Gil Hodges Bridge, to the sanctity of one of the greatest beaches in NYC, the Far Rockaways have been a huge inspiration to us city dwellers. In the meantime, hope you enjoy this East Coast banjo surf tune, tinged in electromagnetic hiss. Please note, this song was written and recorded before the events of hurricane Sandy. Sending lots of warmth and wishes to all disaster victims. Love, Baby Copperhead For direct donations go to: www.wepay.com/donations/occupy-sandy-cleanup-volunteers

Pull My Daiys East Coast Tour w/ Ed Askew Band

Pull My Daisy East Coast Tour begins w/ Ed Askew Band (Drag City/ESP Disk)!!! (I'll also be accompanying Ed Askew on banjo w/ Jay Pluck on piano, and Tyler Evans on tiple ..exciting!!)

Pull My Daisy is a collaboration between video artist Brian Zegeer and musician Baby Copperhead. In 2008 the artists reenacted the 1959 Robert Frank film, “Pull My Daisy”, in the late Allen Ginsberg’s derelict East Village apartment. The sequences shot over this period of several nights comprise the bulk of the material that the artists manipulate in their quasi-narrative audio-video experimentation.

The Shaggs Are Back!!

This Friday, April 13th Still Better Than The Beatles: A Tribute To The Shaggs @ The Bell House 8pm
60s-sister -power-trio of the utmost genius, the Wiggins sisters aka The Shaggs!!, will grace us with their presence. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to meet them in person and answer your questions after the concert. It will be even more bizzare to play their songs in front of them(~_^) The concert is a benefit for the Fremont Town Hall Historical Society; it's their old stomping ground, the place where they blossomed and performed most of their concerts. It means a lot to them and to their biggest fans. Info and tickets< Here>. Special thanks to Jesse Krakow(ninja master) for making this happen!!
