DJ/Rupture invited me to join his group Nettle back in February. I would call a Nettle a dark chamber ensemble that is triggered by DJ/Rupture's brilliant electronic alchemy paying occasional homage to the music of North Africa(Gnawa). I'm also very fortunate to have Brent Arnold on cello, Lindsay Cuff on violin, and Bill Bowden on percussion/electronics in this outfit. We play at Zebulon this Thursday, March 10th at 9.30pm.
